Let me tell you about myself!

I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and completed my practicum in the Chicago Public Schools. Soon after, I earned my AMS Montessori Lower Elementary certification from Seton Montessori Institute, which laid the foundation for my 12+ year journey as a guide, teacher, and tutor in various Montessori settings (in-person, virtual, hybrid).  

Over the years, I’ve supported learners in building confidence, independence, and a deep understanding of core academic skills through a hands-on, individualized approach.

On a personal note, I have been married for 20 years and am the proud parent of two Montessori-raised teenagers. I am originally from Chicago, and currently live in Richmond, Virginia. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking, sipping on coffee, spending time in nature, water activities, and caring for animals.
