Hello! My name is Ms. Carrie

Let me tell you about myself!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an AMS Montessori Elementary certification from Seton Montessori Institute. These experiences laid the foundation for my 15 year journey as an educator, Montessori Guide, and tutor in a variety of settings—including in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning environments.

Over the years, I’ve supported children in building confidence, independence, and a deep understanding of core academic skills through a hands-on, individualized approach using Montessori materials.

On a personal note, I have been married for 20 years and am the proud mother of two teenagers. I am originally from Illinois, and have lived in Midlothian, Virginia for 9 years. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking, sipping on hot coffee, spending time in nature, and caring for my family and pets.
